As a result, different products with a focus on different priorities have been developed and ideally meet individual needs. All heroal sun protection systems are "Made in Germany" and certified by the German testing institute ift Rosenheim. The production process is easy on the environment. The sun protection system heroal VS Z is an outstanding textile zip-screen-system with UV protection and high stability against wind.

Energy-efficient full shading

The textile sun protection heroal VS Z is an energy-efficient zip screen system offering great flexibility for different applications and many options to meet your customers’ individual requirements. The innovative zip fastener technology provides stability to the textile, and makes it possible to shade large areas of up to 18 m² while at the same time withstanding high winds of 145 km/h. Thanks to its versatile design options, heroal VS Z is suitable for different installation situations, e.g. on top of the window, on the wall, in the reveal or in the lintel.

Zip-guided sun protection system for all-glass corners

The heroal VS Z corner solution is an innovative sun protection system for corner areas, such as all-glass corners. Thanks to lateral zip guides on high-quality stainless steel cables, it integrates discreetly into the building's appearance and offers an uninterrupted view to the outside. The textile screens can be controlled independently – when not in use, they automatically disappear into the heroal FME front-mounted box system (sizes 105 and 125 mm). Areas of up to 9 m² with a maximum width of 3 m and height of 3 m per textile screen can be implemented.

Reversible sun protection system with solar-powered drive

The sun protection system heroal VS Z EM (Easy Mount) represents the clamp-on variant of the textile zip screen system heroal VS Z. It can be installed without drills and, if required, be removed without any leftover marking of the structure. Thanks to its integrated solar-powered drive, this system is perfectly suited for a retrofit, and can be installed in listed buildings, rented property and existing buildings without much effort.

Sun protection system integrated into curtain wall

The partly integrated system heroal VS Z CS with its heroal GR 25 guide rail was designed for a seamless integration of the sun protection system heroal VS Z into post-transom curtain walls such as heroal C 50. The system can be installed on standard post-transom systems with a minimum face width of 50 mm. It is surface-mounted in the classic way using standard sun protection bolts. The screw-on base for heroal VS Z CS partly integrated is provided by an integration profile, which can already be machined with the curtain wall posts in the workshop - this saves time on the construction site. Due to the installation close to the curtain wall, heroal VS Z CS partly integrated is wind-stable up to 145 km/h.

The heroal VS C sun protection system comes with a sophisticated cable guide: This variant is particularly suitable for windows and facades with a narrow view width of the profiles. The sleek look of the entire system corresponds to the excellent heroal design language – after all, even the high-quality stainless steel cables impress with their minimalist view. The heroal VS C offers many design options through the rich colour palette of translucent fabrics.

Well thought-out basis, flexible design options

If you’re looking for a base variant for the heroal VS Z, choose the heroal VS sun protection system: This system is also installed in front of the window, effectively protecting the building from the sun. The heroal VS allows the most varied design options. A rich spectrum of colours and designs is available for curtains. The difference in the zip screen system of the heroal VS Z lies in the guidance of the blind, which is done exclusively via the end slat. The zip system, which is found along the sides of the heroal VS Z, is not present on the heroal VS. This sun protection system is therefore ideal for applications in which wind resistance is not important.

Versatile horizontal blind for patio roofs, conservatories and outdoor sitting areas

As a horizontal blind, the textile sun protection system heroal HS for above-glass installation protects from sun radiation. The little space required makes the unobtrusive integration of this sun protection possible. In addition to its zip guidance, the sun protection is tensioned via a back pull system, so that a roof width of up to 5 metres can be shaded. Thanks to perfect system compatibility with heroal patio roof systems, this system can also be integrated later on.

Pre-assembled external venetian blind for integration into on-site shafts

The venetian blind prefabricated element heroal VB (Venetian Blind) is supplied fully assembled as a ready-to-install element. The 2-piece extruded guide rails are provided with a mounting hole. They are fixed either from the front with screws into the window frame or from the side with screws into the masonry.

Pre-assembled external venetian blind as a front-mounted element

The venetian blind prefabricated element heroal VB FM (Venetian Blind Front mounted) is supplied fully assembled as a front-mounted element. You can choose between a visible edge panel and a plaster support panel, each with optional rear insulation, or a blank structural profile. The 2-piece extruded guide rails are provided with a mounting hole. They are fixed either from the front with screws into the window frame or from the side with screws into the masonry.

Pre-assembled, self-supporting external venetian blind

The Venetian blind prefabricated element heroal VB Free (Venetian Blind Free) is supplied fully assembled on load-bearing guide rails and is ideal for mullion-transom façades such as heroal C 50. heroal VB Free is used where load transfer is only possible via the guide rails. The self-supporting external venetian blind is suitable not only for new buildings but also for retrofitting, as the box is not fixed to the façade or masonry.
